Robin Dewson, the principal consultant, also has written several books for Apress, a US based publishing house. Beginning SQL Server 2000 Programming is available as an e-Book or from Amazon and was translated in to Korean and Simplified Chinese as well as English.

This book has been updated to Beginning SQL Server 2005 For Developers: From Novice to Professional and deals with installing SQL Server 2005, the basics of designing a database solution and then implementing that via the demonstration of the creation of tables, views, stored procedures via T-SQL and using the SQL Server Gui, SQL Server Management Studio. It also demonstrates working with the data as well as security for your database.

Robin has also co-authored a second book, Pro SQL Server 2005 Assemblies which demonstrates how to build .NET assemblies for SQL Server as well as how to implement and work with them.

Finally Robin also records and produces the podcasts for Apress which are available from Apress or iTunes.
